So in my ever evolving learning of every aspect of my craft I wanted to share a new discovery (or at least new to me!) SPIN PINS!
Goody has as part of their “simple styles” collection spin pins. let me just say they are awesome! i know having designed shows with period hairstyles how long a good period do takes especially if you have ladies with fine/thin/difficult hair. These take the mess out of the array of pins it takes to stay. I’m slowly trying to integrate these into our stock, because unfortunately they are kind pricey. 5-8 dollars for two pins, yikes. but if you can afford it it’s so worth it!!!
- Gather your hair at the nape of your neck (no ponytail holder needed).
- Twist your hair into a tight bun and tuck in the ends.
- Spin one pin in from the top and the other up from the base, taking care not to interlock pins.
- alternate styles as needed, spin and win baby spin and win! sorry had to….
