About the Show
A retelling of the account of the Harvey Milk murder trial, Execution of Justice considers both sides of the hate crime that sparked a movement. Each character’s costume is derived directly from trial research and media coverage from 1978. Double-casting all actors provides the challenge of making each role memorable and characteristic without exaggerating the real people who are the subject of this drama. The sepia-toned color pallet not only remains true to the period but also provides a tinted window through which the play’s audience views these events from the past.
